Great for an unusual setup
I wanted to mount a new 55 inch TV on my old entertainment stand (from 2002) that I built for an old Sony Vega 24 inch that since it weighed tons it was a CRT with a flat glass front. I installed a pair of 2x4s between the top and 3rd shelves to mount the bracket, which was more than enough given that the new TV only weighed 38 pounds and since the new TV's legs were further apart than the shelves, had to I use a wall mount. . Plenty of accessories are included to suit almost any type of installation, so you probably won't need to search for extra nuts, bolts, etc.
