Perfect for fine work - trimming mustaches, beard edges. A little here, a little there. An uncomfortable shave for the entire face and neck if you have a coarse beard. It's worth having on hand in my opinion rather than relying on the unprotected trimmer that comes with an electric shaver or beard trimmer, but no more. That's why I bought it and it serves that purpose.
