The headphones had a great time in this price range. The bass was surprisingly well produced. I bought the Sol Republic headphones over a year ago and have found the quality far exceeds their price. I have many headphones from high end Shure, Grado and Westone to cheap Panasonic and I won't get upset if I lose them (unlike the $500 pair from Shure I dropped in New York ). The biggest advantage of this line of headphones. in the ears is that they are inserted and removed from the ears very quickly and easily. I often find that with other more expensive in-ear monitors you have to spend a lot of time getting a perfect seal to get bass response and it's annoying when someone has to talk to you and you have to take them out and repeat Process. . It doesn't, it's the perfect solution for quick setup, removal and replacement thanks to the plastic handle (which won't get in your way or touch your ear while you're listening). I hope that some of the high-end producers will learn from Sol Republic's approach. Will they compete with other products that are ten times more expensive? Absolutely not, but if I were to lose this pair I would have no hesitation in buying another one.
