I had very high expectations for this product. I found it cumbersome and not very convenient to use. Raising and lowering the copy mechanism is cumbersome and inconvenient to use. The base is said to be designed for a 17-inch screen, and while it can fit over it, the tray's overlapped edge is too low to allow the laptop to stay on a table. the tablet when in tilt mode; it slides down and down. I didn't find it necessary to use a fan. I only used it to make sure it worked. I found the way the laptop cable comes out is not easy to use. I like the concept. I don't really like the product itself, especially for the price. I think for around $20 it would be ok. I wanted to return it but couldn't find anything to replace it with.
