I have been using an induction cooktop for many years and have had to replace it. I was a little confused by the 1-10 power levels and only used temperature for cooking. Once you know the tempi for low, mid-low, mid, mid-high, high, and whisper, power levels are a cinch. Now I cook with power levels. It's easy to turn on and off, and the modes are easy to set. I like the timer as it turns off the stove when the time is up. The boost button switches it to power level 10 for 30 seconds and then back to the original level. The main thing that doesn't make me very happy is that the lowest temperature is not cold enough. It starts at 175 but if you want to melt chocolate or keep sauce warm it should be somewhere between 110-140. At the same time, the temperature set for the hob is actually the temperature of the hob, not that of the pot. I haven't had to melt any candy yet, so I can't say for sure it's not enough. Overall, I really like using it. Easy to use, bakes food evenly, easy to clean. This is very good value for money. I would recommend this for both beginners and experienced users.
