I saw in reviews that they are suitable for children between 2.5 and 3 years old so I jumped at the opportunity to buy them. My kid hardly ever wears 3T clothes and these mittens are huge for him. I think they are well suited for the stated age range (4-6 or 4T-6T). The quality seemed very good and the price was fantastic so I donated them to the preschool room in our kindergarten. We received a "two tone" paint set and the colors do not match the photo. I do not care. How they are measured: 1.5 inches (4 cm) in diameter at the wrist, 3 inches (8 cm) from the wrist to the tip of the thumb, 4.75 inches (12 cm) from the wrist to the tip of the finger. just a bit big for a 3T kid: 1.25" diameter, 2.75" wrist to thumb tip, 4" wrist to finger tip, with a much shorter (1.5") thumb section)
