My sister has a size 8 pair that I usually wear. After trying them on I felt that they were too long and if I went down half a size they would have fitted my foot better in length. So I ordered 7.5. While the length of the sandal was correct, the rest was a poor fit. The sides were a bit narrow (I have wider feet to begin with) and the top strap was so tight I had trouble getting the velcro on. It was too narrow for my hobbit lady's legs. At the same time, the strap on the toes just sits perfectly. I ended up sending them back and ordered the size I usually wear and should have ordered an 8. The length, as I said, is a bit too long for my liking, but the rest of the sandal fits so well that I'm more than willing to ignore it. . The straps sit perfectly on the arch of the foot and the insole is well cushioned for perfect support without my feet feeling like they're sinking in with every step (I hate that). I highly recommend them, but be aware that they may take a little longer. If you have longer legs, you're all set. If you don't like it, I would recommend a different sandal. Update: I love them! I can wear them all day, multiple days in a row and they're still incredibly comfortable! No blisters, no painful spots. The straps stretched a bit but I needed it. They fit like a glove.
