I hate traveling with my heavy, bulky gear bag so I bought this right before a 3 week trip to Asia and loved it. Basically this is fine for a single lens user like me. I was even able to mount my Polaroid camera directly onto my DSLR PLUS extra batteries, a DSLR charger AND 3 extra Polaroid films! It's surprisingly roomy. Without all my stuff, someone could easily fit another lens or additional gear in there. I wish the strap was padded because the material sometimes digs into my shoulder, especially when it's hot and humid, but I think without the padding you can just fold the strap up, hide it, and put it in your bag. bag or something. An amazing purchase though. Love it.
