Review on π₯οΈ Asus VP228HE 21.5 LED Monitor with Eye Care, Anti-Glare, Built-In Speakers, and HDMI by Derrick Patel
In my opinion they are ok.
I bought two of these monitors and use them primarily for Bible reading, photography, web design, and video/music editing. Both monitors are ideal for this and can also be used for recording. I choose these monitors because they have HDMI and audio jacks and built-in speakers. I already have a set of Sony external speakers but wanted to use the built in speakers when watching YouTube. I was disappointed with the very poor sound quality of the speaker. Asus didn't even bother to install speakers. Also, you cannot connect an audio cable from a PC to a monitor and expect sound when using HDMI. If you are using VGA this will work. Since my graphics card doesn't support simultaneous audio over two HDMIs, only one monitor can play audio at a time. I had to contact Asus and they confirmed it to me.
