Good idea, bad execution

Bought as a structured fidget to help fight ADHD symptoms. The basic concept is good; The springy metal ring is good when I need a really firm texture. I chose this set as I figured I didn't need a lot of rings and it was the smallest and a bit cheaper than the others. Unfortunately, the design seems to be flawed. A few weeks after I bought them, the connected ends of the two separated, and instead of annular ones, all that was left were straight springs. Those who. OK I guess to a degree? But not what I was looking for. (Perhaps that's a downside to all of these rings, but if I were to order a larger package I would at least have more spares.) Also, the green ring appears to be colored green, not a true color metal. and the paint keeps peeling off. What is uncomfortable. I can order more, but I choose a different brand and choose only silver and/or gold rings to reduce the risk of color peeling. Lessons learned I guess.
