I have bought several times. They work great for me. I've tried many hair removal methods and these strips give nice, cheap, and quick results. I heat the strips by turning on a blow dryer or hot brush, then place the strip on top until the strip is very warm. The halves can be easily separated. Since I usually only need one strip, I carefully fold the unused piece in half and put it back in the box. I never had a problem with the second strip later. They're great for your hair. I think the key to success is: 1. Heat up the strip just enough to make it stretchy. 2. Spend some extra time rubbing the strip into your hair. 3. Stretch the skin under the strip so it is taut and quickly remove the strip. With this method, it doesn't matter in which direction the hair grows. I really don't find it uncomfortable, much less painful. Now that I use them frequently, I can wax in less than five minutes. Wax removal wipes can also be used repeatedly. If you need further help I use a little mild hand lotion to remove excess wax before washing my face with cold water. Even if I skip hairs, I've found that contrary to the directions, I can go over the stain a second time without leaving a rash. Although three times is too much, I learned to my chagrin!
