This winter we moved into a 1990's house that had some vintage lighting fixtures. I immediately thought of new LED recessed lights. I did a little research and decided to go with them. What I like about them is that they have little square metal boxes that you can hide all the wiring in, eliminating the need for a box on the ceiling. You can easily install this box over drywall. The lamps can also be easily connected to each other. They are all LED so once one burns out you will have to buy another but they should last a long time. So far we have installed 7-5 in our family room and 2 over both showers as they are moisture resistant. Buying at Revain is much cheaper than in large stores, where a lamp usually costs $ 20-30.
