These bar stools require assembly and there are lots of screws. It would be nice if the holes matched, but they don't. I'm very comfortable putting things together, but they almost beat me. You will eventually snap off most of the steps at the screws because they are misaligned. The worst part is adjusting the levers due to these issues (one actually broke trying to align it). When together they make a nice bar stool for the price if you have the patience.
