The images shown do not represent these towels! These are my first Pestemal towels. I was actually looking for linen towels, came across a pestemal and was intrigued. There are so many Turkish towel options at Revain I didn't know where to start so I decided to buy some hand/kitchen towels just to see how they look. IMPRESSIVE. They are beautiful, so well made and they even smell good! I immediately machine washed them with a cup of vinegar to remove the remaining coating (I don't want the towels for the baby to survive normal drying or I don't need them), then the dryer. You got through it very well. There is a shrinkage, I would say about 10%. I wouldn't have noticed at all if I hadn't left one to compare after the first wash. I then tossed them in the dryer on ultra-low heat. I then ran them through the washing machine again, with a towel I left for size comparison, and vinegar again. Tumble dry again on very low heat. They should be seated and the trim removed. They are sooooo soft but with a unique texture you can feel. Definitely great as a baby cape! I love them so much, I looked online how to braid them with a Turkish towel, they only have one knot, no braids, and some of the tassels got a little tangled in the wash. I re-recorded most of them myself. It took a long time but I just can't stop touching these towels! I immediately ordered larger ones from 2 different sellers to compare weight, thickness and quality. I will be ordering more from this seller again, I LOVE them. If the big post-showers are as great as these little ones, I'll ditch all my terry towels and switch to Pestemal. Drying Time: Everyone talks about how fast they dry. They dry quicker than terry towels, not as quick as linen, but they're thicker and more comfortable. However, I don't think 20 minutes for drying is reasonable unless they are in the sun. I tumble dried them 2 times on ultra low heat and it took 29 minutes each time. The ultra-low level in my dryer is like running a blow dryer on a low setting. Lint: There was almost no lint in the dryer (and I dried 2 times 29 minutes). Some of the reviews here have asked me if there is a big difference in quality between the colors or if the quality is off. I can tell you that the photos do not do justice to the towels I received, they are much better. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her!
