I was in the middle of a creek, the stand for my GoPro8 fell off. I reached out to grab it. my hand got caught on the power cable and the HDMI output. the power cable is still ok, but this cable. It took me 5 minutes with needle nose pliers to pull out the part that cable left in the camera port. If you are gentle and NEVER touch your device with this cable, this is perfect. but if you are thinking of moving an output device. it can die.
