I've had a large collection of micro USB cables over the years but while I need them for older devices they are useless for new phones . These adapters fill that small short-term need by allowing me to be cheap for now and continue to use old cables when needed and just carry one cable for multiple devices when needed. They work very well: each adapter comes with a small clip and chain, fits snugly over the micro-USB tip, and works as expected when charging via USB-C. As this makes the tip of the cable quite long, it is important not to stress this tip to avoid the risk of breaking it and/or damaging the device's charging port.
