Not built to last

I bought these to hang things heavier than plastic hangers. While they look good and are generally well made to match their design, they are not built to last. The bottom bar is installed next to the top pieces and nailed in place with a tiny nail at each end. Luckily for me, the notch for the straps also holds the string tied around the bottom bar. I try to see See photo.
