I've been diagnosed with every eyelid problem I've ever had and suffered for years from swollen eyelids that would close, stye/chalazion that didn't respond to medication, required surgical drainage, etc. It's December. around and the cold weather hit (always a trigger for my eyes), i woke up last week with almost swollen eyelids. That. I used to use Ocusoft products with minor improvements, but I've read that this version is the most useful for inflammation. Within hours of the first application, the swelling was noticeably reduced, so I reapplied before bed. Typically my eyes are almost completely swollen upon waking, and it takes hours of hot compresses to reduce them - although my eyes were even more swollen this morning than last night, they were anything but normal for several hours after morning application of the tumor decreased by 80% - even more than after the first day of application. This is a bigger improvement than any other product I've tried, whether OTC or prescription, and far less invasive than other options. I expect the swelling will continue to decrease with continued use, but even if it doesn't, today I have a much better (and faster) improvement than a cocktail of prescriptions and hot compresses. I've seen complaints about the price - these people may not have been as desperate as the people this product is intended for (moderate to heavy). Paying for this is still cheaper in my opinion than paying extra to my eye doctor, definitely less than paying extra for 3-4 different prescriptions, and a thousand times less invasive or uncomfortable than a drain, which is necessary when a chalazion of chronic comes inflammation. For those of you who are hardcore, this product is more than worth the price. I leave it on my face - it doesn't need to be washed off. I just give my eyes a few minutes to let the product dry before opening them and all is good. I've seen complaints that it stings when it hits the eye. As long as you keep your eyes closed for a few minutes while it dries on the lid, it shouldn't get in your eyes and cause discomfort. You also don't need a full pump to get enough product to cover both eyelids/lash lines.
