I bought this to send to my 14 year old grandson, because I find it helpful to write down thoughts and dreams. The world is full of peer pressure and troubles and I always found it helpful when I was a child to write things down and sometimes answers you need come to you while putting it down on paper. This journal is a nice gray color and very stylish looking. It has a very soft cover. It has a place on the inside to write name, telephone number and email in case it gets lost. The paper is a very nice quality and did not bleed through when I wrote his name inside it. Each page has a place for the date. It has an elastic strap to keep the journal closed and also 2 ribbons inside to mark the pages. It comes with a very nice pen and a clip to hold it to the journal.
