Review on Gamepad Microsoft Xbox One Controller, white by Vinay Rao ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

Before that, I tried many different gamepads and have something to compare with. The build quality here is good. At first it seemed unusual in the hands, because it differs from classic joysticks, where the sticks are symmetrical (logitech f310, rumblepad, controller). But I quickly got used to it and now I really like to use the asymmetric stick with my left hand, I don’t even use the D-pad in platformers, where it would seem better for her to play. Well, the cherry on the cake here is that it works great with windows 10. The gamepad is immediately seen by wire and you can play right away. I waited a month and got me a usb bluetooth dongle version 4.0, inserted it into the computer, inserted 2 AA Eneloop batteries into the joystick and everything is OK - now you can play without a wire. It works flawlessly via bluetooth, I didn’t experience any delays, lags, although I played games where it would immediately catch my eye. Satisfied. I initially wanted to take controller, but 2 things repelled it: there is no xinput, that is, the joystick was originally for the console and did not think to work with a PC, but you can play through emulations or without xinput, but the delay increases slightly because of this. Well, the second cant is the built-in lithium-ion battery, which is also quickly discharged. This is the main disadvantage. And on the xbox, beauty is that the batteries last a long time, and if they are discharged, I quickly changed them to 2 other eneloop and again into battle.

Cons
  • The crosspiece is poor in comparison with the logitech f310 (although it is also not ideal there). I’m not particularly worried about the cross, because I have an arcade stick for playing fighting games, BUT if you want to play fighting games on it, don’t take it, otherwise you will regret it. It works very unpleasantly in diagonal directions, but is well done for the classic up, down, left, right.
