The canister is well made, robust and just the right size for a bag of ground coffee. The lid seems to close very tightly and isn't difficult to snap and open, keeping the contents fresh. . I really like that the spoon can be hung outside the jar as the handle is metal and there are two magnets on one side of the jar. This keeps the spoon handy and doesn't make it bulky when stored in the tin. I recommend this to anyone looking for airtight storage. Update: After two weeks of use, one of the magnets holding the measuring spoon fell out of the tin. I don't mind since I can re-stick, but felt that this should certainly be enough for 2+ weeks of daily one-spoon activity.
