Review on Lilac Logitech G203 Prodigy Wired Gaming Mouse with RGB, Lightweight Design, 6 Programmable Buttons, 8,000 DPI, On-Board Memory, for PC and Mac by Dang Linh Ngan ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor quality, not suitable for use.

There is an opinion about this mouse on the Internet that in the first batches of the wired G403 series there is a marriage with rattling elements (presumably either in the area of the wheel or in the area of \u200b\u200bthe side keys), and these problems were not observed in the wireless variation. Thinking that this problem could no longer touch me (we are talking about the first batches, and it was April 17 in the yard), I went to the store. What was my surprise when, with a light touch of the mat with the mouse nose, I heard the vile sound of cheap plastic rattling. Everything would be fine, but when you interact with the mouse, especially in shooters, you willy-nilly rearrange it and hear this sound every time. Someone will reconcile, but I could not. I took it back and, for fun, they opened it in front of me and compared it with a mouse from the same box, and the same batch. The rattle was absent. Marriage is on the face, and, apparently, it does not depend on the party. So check on the spot. Touch a hard surface with the mouse several times. If you do not observe extraneous sounds, a plastic-rattling character, everything is ok. My conclusion: If you want to save money - take the G102! Excellent sensor, responsiveness, ease of operation. If you want to pay a little more, but get a better item, and not G102, then your choice for April 2022 is G502. Overpaying for the G403 twice the price, in comparison with the G102 - is pointless. The quality of the materials is identical, you will not use the sensor at 12022 anyway (and you won’t even set it at 6000), the difference in ergonomics is within the margin of error. As a result, my choice was made in favor of the G502 for a number of reasons described above. : I went even further, there was an opportunity to compare the G502 and the Razer DeathAdder Elite Black in person. As a result, the choice fell on the latter and for the first time in 15 years, my mouse is not from Logitech. I found my ideal mouse from another manufacturer.

Pros
  • - Good price for a 12022 dpi sensor - Positioning accuracy - Good, ergonomic shape - High-quality software (not an achievement of a specific model, because it is the same for the Logitech G series, but I will note its level) - Excellent, lightweight braided wire. - Signature lighting - 10 gram weight included
Cons
  • - Frequent marriage (details in the comments) - The quality of manufacturing materials is low for this price list (at the time of writing the review, the difference between G403 and G502 is 900, and in terms of workmanship and ergonomics there is an abyss between them . Yes, and the set of goods is more impressive)
