I'm short and don't have much space between the shoulders and neck. (Troubles of short people!) I also have a naughty neck and shoulders. (Older issues!) I had a fancy, first memory foam pillow in years that worked great because I actually folded it up to sit right between my neck and shoulder. But I couldn't bring myself to spend that much money knowing I would have to fold my pillow in half again. I've tried fancy pillows with cut outs for the neck, but I don't think it worked with a short neck. Actually it was a disaster. So try it for half the price. That's great. I can tuck it exactly where I need the most support, whether I sleep on my side or on my back. And double the bonus, it will travel well! I could just take a substitute!
