This product can be dangerous. We bought ours in July 2021 and started using them as the nights got cooler. A few nights ago my wife woke up to something sharp scratching her leg. Upon examination, she found a four-inch scratch on her ankle. Further examination with a magnet revealed a 3-inch rusty metal fragment stuck in the insulation between the two outer layers. If you're thinking about buying one of these comforters, you might want to reconsider. If you've already bought it, you may want to return it or stop using it until you've had a chance to thoroughly inspect it for dangerously sharp metal splinters. We were lucky that this incident only ended with a scratch that tore the skin. What if it was an eye? I will be returning this and requesting a full refund. I will also add a recommendation that the manufacturer recall all of these items until they understand and correct the issues and flaws in their processes that made this possible. And I will not take NO for an answer.
