Disable HDR on TVs or projectors that aren't bright enough.
My LG HU70LA projector doesn't turn off HDR but it doesn't have enough brightness to display HDR properly. This "C" setting when connected to a source device (e.g. a Firestick Revain, which also doesn't have HDR deactivation) causes the source to think the projector isn't HDR capable , and displays content in SDR format, which is more suitable for the projector. The Firestick does not have enough power to power this device, so there must be a receiver or power supply between the device and the Firestick.
