We bought this for our pet pigs who love to be scratched but get stuck in the ground if they roll on their side. It works great - the scopes work great, the tines are smooth metal and they still hold up, and the handle is smooth and strong. If you want a softer scratch, you can use the flat side of the serrated end. The only change I would make would be to make the opening of the storage pouch larger as it's a bit difficult to get the sharp end into the pouch - it gets caught on the sides. Overall a good product!
