Review on Muscle Beach All-Pro Whey Protein Powder with Whey Isolate - 27G Protein Chocolate, Gluten Free, Low Carb, Keto Friendly, Mr. Olympia Approved, 2LB Chocolate Protein Powder by Roy Cook

Revainrating 4 out of 5

ABOVE AVERAGE CHOCOLATE FLAVOR BUT A LITTLE EXPENSIVE FOR 25 SHOVELS!

Really nice chocolate taste. Not the best I've had, but definitely above average. I mix 1 scoop with 8 ounces of almond milk and it shakes great in a shaker with no lumps, foam or grits. Very mild taste! Pretty good macros: 160 calories per scoop, low in fat, sodium, and carbs. Cholesterol levels are a little higher than we would like, but it appears that all chocolate protein powders contain moderate to high cholesterol. You get 27 grams of a triple protein blend of whey isolate, whey concentrate and micellar casein. Fast, medium, slow digestion/absorption in that order. What doesn't bother me is the price and there are no larger containers available. At $1.40 per serving, it's a bit pricey for my wallet. I like to stay within $1 scoop of protein or maybe a little more. Muscle Beach offers 5 pounds. A container with more than 60 servings costs about $55. Also, I would love to see more flavors than just chocolate and chocolate peanut butter. This is a good option for a protein powder, but I think you could get better taste and price with one of the more reputable supplement companies if you're looking for a multi-component protein. One of my favorite protein powders is PEScience Select. Their cookies and cream, cake pops and vanilla flavor are just on fire!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
