Razor Burn, Catching, and Ingrown Hairs

If you like razor burn, tweezing, ingrown hairs, and itchy skin for a week or more, these babies are for you! I used to buy Hydro 5 blades from Sam's Club and never had a problem. Like, 10 years without problems. Those special blades were awful. I am a woman with lots of real estate to get rid of unwanted hair (legs). I find that men's razors are generally better for shaving legs than women's razors. The blades usually last longer and I don't have any irritation from previous Hydro 5 blades at all, but this time it was a very different shaving experience. These blades caught in the hair on my legs and actually pulled it out, leaving patches of plucked hair follicles. Literally throwing away a single BIC razor - you know what I'm talking about, those white and yellow ones that were rubbish but so cheap - you could shave just like you do with those blades. I am by no means a hairy woman. I can go about a week between shaves and it's not that noticeable. Speaking of a week between shaves, not only did these blades pull my hair out, but after about a week I started getting ingrown hairs. Funny things. You know, after my skin finally healed enough after an impromptu hair removal. If my hair grew faster I can't imagine how bad my legs would be. Also, I used a new blade for each shave as opposed to the old blades. With these great blades, I could easily shave my legs twice (and shave my armpits every other day). That's right, for some reason those trash blades don't cause armpit irritation. But that's not the only reason I keep them with me. I was so disappointed in these blades that I actually signed up for one of those monthly shaving clubs.
