Almost as good as Ergotron.fast.

So far so good. This dual arm monitor mount is very similar to the old Ergotron monitor arms I have. to you. I've noticed them, but most don't really bother me because I won't be moving them regularly. I use this on a standing desk and after trying several different "fixed arm" style mounts because they were cheaper, I settled on this one because it didn't work for my needs (one just wouldn't go together, eh suggested in the instructions). . There are a few minor issues that are likely due to "Value/Cost Engineering". The instructions aren't great - it's not very complicated as to what needs to happen, but when it comes to pulling the lever it would be handy to know which way to turn the fitting. It will appear as a very small image on the arm next to the attachment point. The instructions simply state that the faucet can be rotated in either direction and the arm moves both up and down. The fittings specified in my instructions do not match what was on hand. The small "height adjustment ring" on the post has hex set screws - I have slots for a small but sturdy screwdriver. The hex is preferred here because of the torque required to keep it from moving. The arm movement is what I'd call "semi-smooth" - it's not as smooth as an Ergotron, but I won't be moving my monitors much. Ultimately I think this one will suit my needs - at least I hope so because I ended up searching/reviewing over 30 styles, colors and types of monitor mounts on the market. !
