I have installed these (pun intended) in my stall boxes that connect to box fans. My horses are grazed 24/7 and are just horses. The outside doors of their coop are left open and they come in at feeding time and whenever they want shelter from the rain or heat. When a horse enters the stable, the motion sensor turns on the stable fan. When the horse walks, the fan turns off. I have each sensor in the top corner of each box and I set the down angle so that there are very few instances where a horse coming into one box turns on the fan in the next box.
