I decided to try it because I was experiencing unusual pain in my calves (e.g. after getting Charlie's horse). I was told it was probably my Achilles tendon. Which I NEVER had and don't use at all. I'll admit that the first few times I used it, it wasn't "comfortable". The feet should get used to the massage. If the pressure is too great, the leg can be easily moved or abducted. Now that my feet are used to it I LOVE it. Use this almost every day. I even used it to massage my calves which feels great and my calf pain is gone! I would recommend it. My only downside is that the cord is too short so you have to be near an outlet. I believe other reviewers have mentioned this as well.
