An inexpensive and easy accessory digital tachometer that I installed on my 15hp single cylinder 4 stroke garden tractor to make it run easier Engine at Maximum RPM/HP The tachometer is not very accurate but gives a rough indication of engine speed. I propose to use this tachometer with a large deviation of the readings, so as not to exceed the maximum engine speed. The tachometer seems reasonable at high rpm based on engine noise/vibration, but seems excessive at idle. digital display - black numbers with silver background; the display is difficult to see; Backlight could help for readability.
