Due to pain and strain in my wrist I was looking for a palm rest that was about the same length as the hard plastic palm rest that came with the keyboard. typing, and when I pause to think I naturally rest my wrist on the "palm rest" and don't rest my wrist on it when I'm typing) I tried another quality brand and while I was happy with the palm rest, its depth was too deep for my needs as I have a shallow keyboard tray. I bought it later after reading the depth and taking a quick measurement I hoped it would fit. Results: About the same depth as the rest of the k70 wrist, but obviously a lot taller. Perfect for replacing an old one. The foam makes it feel like you have Circus Peanuts under your wrists. Very comfortable. In the upper part of the back there are small indentations that are very fun to run your fingers over. satisfactory! Ideal width for standard keyboards with #-Pad. Although space is not a factor, this is a great product that I hope will keep its durability for some time. I'm thinking about buying a backup or two!
