The lights are on, I think it's the owls that got my cats, so I put these pups on poles ten feet high. Night falls and nothing happens. I'm out there in the dark wondering why they aren't blinking. Anyone smarter than me probably already knows that there is a SWITCH in the base and the light doesn't work until it's turned on. Aside from the farm looking like a SWAT takeover, I'm fine and have stopped losing cats. The bedroom must have heavy curtains. Flashing lights disturb sleep. A small prize to deter predators from stealing chickens, cats and guinea pigs.
