The appearance of this necklace is exactly the same as the pictures! Very shiny and good size. The bar isn't too big or dainty, in my opinion it's the perfect size for the chain style. It comes in a magnetic closure box that also includes a travel pouch and cleaning cloth. I've only had it a few days so can't say how long it will stay gold, but I was willing to pay a little more for it than the Forever 21 necklace because it has to be dipped in real gold. which should prevent it from turning green as fake metal chains usually do!
