Review on ARNIISY Ceiling Lights Remote Control by Scott Richardson

Installation was a nightmare, wrong model listed, additional parts and plastic lamp

This was one of the most tedious (almost 4 hours) installs I have ever done. First of all, this is not even the model described in the proposal. I have a plastic lampshade with a round magnetic LED ring and should have 3-40w bulbs. I also had a plastic lampshade which looks like another piece needs to be added as it has a hole in the middle (maybe an extra silver disc with no hole should magically stick to it) when I should have gotten a frosted glass lampshade. The instructions were wrong in many places and the model in the brochure showed pull cords for the light and fan, but the model I received didn't have them. The instructions also required that the live wire be marked "N" and the neutral wire "L", which is completely reversed. It was like playing roulette and trying to install this and set up the wireless remote control system and then it was all connected. I could not loosen one of the top bracket screws to secure the top of the canopy. Trying to connect the fan blades and interpreting the wrong direction, I tried to remove the part that wouldn't move and cut my hands. a few spots of small cuts on the sharp-edged metal, and eventually it turned out that there was a small hole for a screwdriver to get through, which again I had to figure out for myself, like many other connections in this case. Luckily I was smart enough to wire this the wrong directions and was able to get it to work and connect to the remote. What I didn't like is that every time you turn it on it beeps and the lights change mode each time you turn it on instead of staying in the same mode. This happened regardless of whether I chose the actual wall switch to turn it on and off or the remote control, so I feel like I never know how bright it will be. The only positive thing I found was that the fan has many speed levels and works. smooth. Without the addition of additional compensating elements, it stayed flat when I tested back and forth between clockwise and counterclockwise rotations. A nice feature is that if you move in a direction, with a single press of a button, the fan will slow down and change direction. . There was also an interesting natural wind setting and the fan speed was sporadic to create varying wind intensities just like in the real world. While I'm happy to have a fan in the room, overall I'm disappointed with the lighting and the whole installation process, as well as the fact that this fan doesn't look like it did in the instructions and website when I ordered it.
