I'm a huge G-Shock fan and this watch runs all round. G-Shock still uses outdated lightbulbs to illuminate the face of its $100-$300 watches, and they're useless. As well as the fact that the numbers on their screens are very small. This watch lights up like a Christmas tree, the buttons beep when pressed (unlike the soft G-Shock buttons). And the numbers are big. I wear it to work as a personal trainer, to coach my clients and use the stopwatch dozens of times throughout the day. I dropped it, hit it with weights, threw weights at it, swam with it in the pool every day in the summer, and after a year and a half it's working great.
