Well I've been using this thing for many, many years. I can't tell if the recipe has changed. I think it worked a little better or maybe a little faster when it was in the light blue regular bottle. It's almost impossible to find in stores. We used to buy it from WalMart but it was never in stock. There is still space on the shelves, but no product. I really really HATE that stemmed bottle! The exfoliating part of the mixture tends to settle around the pink foundation, so shake it out EVERY time you use it. People saying it's a little watery is probably due to the silly bottle design. While this may be a little artful, it's impractical and makes the liquid difficult to use. Good luck getting the remaining liquid out of the bottom of the bottle - I had to put my pinky inside the bottle to get it out. go out. I even added some warm water which helped mix the drier part. Not anymore - I had garbage and water. Shame on you for that lousy design! We get it - you wanted it to look like a foot. It's still bad design for a lotion inside! Meanwhile, the product itself is still beautiful. I've tried making homemade versions but they never work. There is a trick to this. It cannot simply be applied like a hand lotion. Use on DRY SKIN (not wet from shower) and you will get the best results. Do it over a trash can if you try it for the first time! Anyway, keep rubbing as if you were rubbing something that was meant to be rubbed into your skin. You should continue rubbing even after you can no longer see the lotion. Keep massaging. That's it - keep it up. You will start to see small white spots. These are dead skin cells. Keep rubbing - they will keep coming loose. Brush them off as soon as they fly into the trash can. sounds rough? It's just dead skin cells - don't worry. When you stop throwing out the trash, you can either try again with some more of this lotion, or if you think you're fine, wash your hands with soap and water, dry them, and wear yours regular hand lotion. . Apply this remedy especially to the knuckles. It's amazing how dry skin can get there! My hands feel like the proverbial baby's bottom after a good use of this lotion. It's amazing how this thing actually works. Aside from your hands, you can really use it anywhere. I use it on my legs for dry winter skin, on my face for dry patches that kinda shows where normal skin used to be, my elbows and knees and of course my feet. and hands. It's really awesome. But whoever designed this current bottle should be fired! I don't want art, I want lotion. The bottle is NOT working properly and will cause some irritation to the product.
