First of all, I'm not a DIYer, but plumbing is so expensive that I decided to give it a try. The first installation worked fine, but I must have measured the length wrong somehow. It turned out to be too high and wouldn't shut off. After many tries, eight frayed joints and some very nasty words, I managed to uninstall it. This was the most difficult part of the project. The second installation went well, probably because I was tired of all the gymnastics I had to do to take it off. The valve itself feels a little flimsy and the way you set the level cutoff is counterintuitive, but it works just fine. I want to adjust the cutoff *after* installation, not before. My advice. Measure carefully, mark the pipe and make sure the length will not accidentally change during installation.
