This shirt is sold under many brand names and does not come with a use and care label or a fiber content label. However, it says "Made in China". On the inside there is a lot of embroidery without a protective layer so as not to irritate the skin. If you have a sensitive child you may need to wear a tank top and remove the tags as they will scratch the skin. The shirt feels like cotton but can be made of a polyester blend. Stitching is a little sloppy, lots of loose ends that need trimming. Some seams are not sewn evenly and some overhanging seams are overlapped. However, the construction and stitching is just perfect for holding everything together. The screen printing on the back is well done. My son loves the pattern and I will definitely get him to wear it but the quality really isn't that great. It's only $8 so I guess you get what you pay for. Nice but disappointed.
