Scratches/rougher than expected

While this body brush appears to be made out of quality materials (it *looks* great!), it's a lot rougher/scratchy than I expected The first body brush I used EcoTools Dry Body Brush ($4.99 from Target). Since it has synthetic bristles and I wanted to try a "natural" bristle brush, I invested in an aromatherapy body brush. I've found that the bristles on an aromatherapy brush (made from sisal) are much stronger and therefore don't flex much when pressed against or brushed over skin. (The EcoTools dry body brush is hard, but their bristles are more flexible so they don't scratch the skin as much.) I absolutely cannot use an aromatherapy brush on my calves/shins as the skin is very thin/tight there. There are fewer scratches on thicker areas such as thighs, buttocks, etc. I will continue to use the aromatherapy brush and only use it on areas where it is not causing pain. Maybe it will relax over time? If not, I like to use my EcoTools brush.
