Professional?!? I can't think of a professional who would want to deal with these scissors. Although it says "Made in Germany", the company is based in Turkey. Any conclusion that this product is of high quality due to the production in Germany is a fake. These scissors are extremely difficult to open and close, forcing the user to apply strong pressure and therefore causing the scissors to open suddenly and wide which can cause injury if they are close to the nose or ear . Trying to close and then open again while trying to cut your hair not only becomes risky, as mentioned, but also very tiring. The surface of the cutting edges is poorly finished and that may be the reason these things work poorly, but whatever the reason, quality control is clearly not a priority here. These things are a pain and a hazard to use and are sent down the litter box. I've bought several pairs of scissors from various drug and retail stores over the years and each has invariably been better than this excuse for a serviceable pair of scissors.,
