A little background before talking about the product. I have a 2003 GMC Sierra with a factory Bose stereo. I upgraded my main unit, had to buy an ax box to hold calls from Bose and OnStar, after installing the main unit I noticed a slight *hiss* all the time. Even if no sound is played. I figured I could ignore it. But no. That. Driven. Me. CRAZY! I've searched all over the internet how to solve this problem but to no avail. Finally, one day I tried poking around and found that my new head unit was sending too much signal to my factory Bose amp. The sound from my speakers was amplified twice. And the added strength was that it came in the form of noise. So, to make it short. They've become really useful because Bose wiring doesn't use a set of RCA cables like a traditional amplifier, instead each speaker has its own positive and negative wires. Like most head units. So I could use them to route each speaker to my head unit's RCA output and now my sound quality is crystal clear. Better than ever. But I only installed them for one day. So I'll update in a while if there are any developments.
