This hammered ring is heavy. This is a very light silver (stainless steel). The hammer effect can be felt throughout the ring and the ring is slightly wider at the top. The size is accurate. I wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8 as it is a wide ring (10/16 inches at the widest point).
