My mom bought this for my son's 3rd birthday and it's BEST GIFT EVER. Contrary to other reviews, ours was all inclusive, with no missing or broken items. All the luxury of his sister's houses from LoL or Barbie, but with the excitement of police and fire stations. To be honest, I doubt I can save my daughter from that either. Let's start assembling. As mentioned in other reviews, the instructions could be clearer with more pictures. However, all boards are numbered and the screws are colour-coded. The only thing you need is a screwdriver. and lots of patience. Common silver screws are for the bottom of the floor, gray screws for the top of roofs, red screws for the front of the fire station, blue screws for the front of the police station. There's also a pair of gray B-bolts that are for the roof as well, while the silver B-bolts are for the floor. Then there are the colored G-screws for the back/inside of the doors. When laying the flooring for each building, make sure the white trim is facing in and the brown trim is facing out where the front of the building will cover it. and all rooftops face up (lanterns, basketball court, and helipad). Doorknobs are perhaps most annoying when they are screwed down. They have to be properly aligned or you won't be able to screw them all the way in. All furniture is already assembled. The dog bed that some people are reporting missing is actually a painting on the floor in one of the buildings. Dog and bowl included. Finally, I've attached a few more photos which I think can give you an idea of what I want the end result to look like. Worth all the trouble. Great quality and my son's surprise is priceless.
