Worked almost perfectly for my purposes! I wanted to share my wireless mouse and keyboard between my laptop and PC instead of buying a full KVM. The merging receiver is connected to a shared USB port and the other ends are connected to my desktop and a USB-C hub (Thunderbolt 3.1) for my laptop. When I switch from the desktop to the laptop, the mouse and keyboard work fine. But for some reason my laptop doesn't recognize a monitor that's also connected through a USB-C hub until I unplug that switch from the hub. It only takes a few extra seconds, so I don't mind. I can't tell if this hiccup is caused by my particular USB-C hub, my laptop, or this switch, or a combination of the three. Still, I'm very happy with the Switch - highly recommend! For anyone wondering how I got around the need for KVM with this, my setup looks like this: My desktop is now connected to my monitor via DisplayPort, and my laptop is connected via HDMI. Both display methods can transmit sound, so my speakers are connected to the monitor's audio output. Mouse and keyboard as described above. When I need to switch from PC to laptop, I just switch from DisplayPort to HDMI on my monitor and flip the switch on this product and voila! I have full KVM functionality at a lower cost, fewer cables and an overall better aesthetic.
