Review on ☕️ Bruntmor Heat & Shock Resistant Borosilicate Glass Carafe for French Press Coffee Maker - Universal Replacement Beaker, 8-cup, 34-ounce, 4" Diameter by Holly Luna

This glass tumbler looks like a NEARLY exact replacement for the Boodum tumbler and is the same overall quality. The only problem is that the spout is about 1/4 inch taller and deeper than the bodum. So when you insert the glass into the steel handle assembly, ON THE SPOKE the glass will rest on the top ring instead of the bottom. Handle. (One design flaw is that the small spout can't take the stress of pushing the plunger.) It seems that's why so many reviews here have noted the spout is broken. I applied a layer of cork glue (used for the underside of furniture, etc.) about 3/8 inch thick to the steel at the bottom of the handle assembly to support the glass, with the spout positioned over the top ring rather than resting on it the top ring. See photo. I'll come back and tell you how it works after a few weeks of use. (Plus, they're serious about not using steel spoons to stir the coffee, which I think broke my boodum.)
