Review on Scarleton Quilted Satchel Handbag for Women, Shoulder Bag, Purses & Tote Bag - H1048 by Dakota Tailor

I bought this bag as my first official "big girl" bag since I was an adult. Always carrying canvas/canvas backpacks or stupid hot topic backpacks, I decided to take the next step towards adulthood by getting a more mature bag. This bag definitely delivers on that front. It looks identical to the picture so what you see is what you get. The material feels very luxurious, leathery and durable, durable enough to withstand your daily life. Inside there is enough space for everything an average woman can take with her. Wallet, sunglasses, phone, medicines, cosmetics, tissues, keys, maybe even an iPad depending on which model you have. The zippers and long chain are beautiful solid brass that makes almost every color of this bag stand out (black, the one I bought). The loop on the front of the bag is firmly attached, so accidentally bumping into a stranger on the subway or dropping the bag is very unlikely to detach and make the bag look awkward. This is a solid bag and there is definitely quality craftsmanship involved in its creation. My only gripe (solved by using a long strap though) is that there isn't enough room on two small straps to carry the bag over the shoulder. I know it's not a bag and my arms are a bit chunky, but it's just weird that when I'm walking somewhere, one arm is completely occupied by a purse. Again, the manufacturer was kind enough to provide an alternative shoulder strap, so it's not a big deal to me. This bag is so, so cool. And very hard. I believe I will have it for some time due to its versatile design and sturdy construction. And the price was right. Overall I would say 8/10.
