I was surprised at the initial quality of this cable considering how inexpensive it is. Often a cheap ethernet cable, say from a major chain store that rhymes with stabletart, comes out of the box by being wound on a spool with tight curls. This cable was in similar packaging but straightened it out right away. The padding is more pliable than I expected and the rubber is a little softer, but that doesn't make it feel flimsy. This meant the cable went exactly where I wanted it, right out of the box. I appreciated it. The ends are well finished and well cut. I would buy it again.
