I am in my sixties. We always had Salux (or old Basuratto) exfoliating bath and shower towels in our house. That was in the early 1970s. Her skin was taut and had a healthy glow. She said she was 86 years old. Without make up! She was Japanese, like my mother. Mom's makeup is minimal. One woman in J-Town told me that exfoliating with an abrasive cloth is key to keeping her skin taut. I knew my mother did the same. I took it to heart and always kept an exfoliating bath towel in my shower. Apply a minimal amount of light facial lotion after showering. Hopefully it lasts until my 80s. Has worked so far.
